What is Biz Calling Cards?
Biz Calling Cards is an advertising and Mobile Marketing company. Our products are designed to help you increase your business and sales by giving your clients and customers complimentary calling business cards loaded with $5 worth of global calling. 

How do my customers benefit?
International phone calling can be very expensive and most people want to save money on all of their phone calls. When they use your calling business
cards, their call is complimentary of any long distance charges. Their only cost is their local carrier's phone charges when they call a local phone number.

What is a Text Message?
A text message is a way to communicate with cellular phones without talking.  "Text message" and "SMS" are often used synonymously.
 
What is SMS?
SMS stands for Short Message Service and is the standard by which all phones send and receive text messages.

What are the size limitations of a Text Message?
Standard text messages are limited in size to 160 characters.  This includes all letters, numbers, symbols, spaces, and punctuation.

Who can receive Text Messages?
Nearly every cell phone in service today can send and receive text messages.  Many wireless providers include text messaging with their service plans.
 
Do my customers get charged to receive text messages?
Not from us. However "Message and Data rates may apply" from wireless providers and typically charge a fee to consumers who do not have text messaging included in their service plan.

What is a Short Code?
It's a 5 digit number that identifies what company and program is sending Business to Consumer (B2C) SMS traffic. It appears as the 'FROM' number on the mobile phone.

How are Short Codes used?
Short Code programs have to be individually approved by each wireless carrier to prevent spammers and marketers from sending unsolicited messages into their networks.

How do my customers Opt-Out?

Who has ownership rights to the database?
The great advantage to mobile marketing is the database that you create. You own the database and BIZ has no rights to the database. The database will never be re-sold or used for any purposes other than your own.

When and how do I receive my BIZ calling cards?
Your cards will be shipped by US Postal service and should arrive within 10-14 business days after your artwork approval.

How many text message ads can I send?
You can send an unlimited number of text message ads to your complimentary users. However we recommend that you refrain from over sending them too many ads. We highly recommend that you build and store 5-6 text message ads in your online text builder program and allow your customers to receive them in rotation whenever they make a complimentary call.

How quickly can I start sending text messages to my users?
Mobile text advertising campaigns are relatively easy to create and execute, with messages being delivered to recipients in a matter of seconds.

How effective is the text message reach?
Delivery of SMS messages to mobile phones is almost guaranteed, which, for example, is not the case with email.

How are my text message ads received?
Delivery customers using your complimentary calling business cards will receive the messages on their mobile devices anytime and anywhere they make a complimentary phone call.

How affordable is the text message advertising?
The cost of sending SMS messages is very comparable to that of email broadcasting rates: on average you will pay around 15 cents to send each message. Prices drop as volumes increase.

What kind of response rate should I expect?
The average SMS response rate is 15%, versus 3.5% for traditional promotional methods such as direct mail. The response rate usually varies based on the offers being sent by our advertisers.

Can I personalize my text message ads?
Yes, text messages or personalized content is targeted to individuals who have opted to receive them.

Should I continue my other advertising campaigns?
The Biz Calling Cards mobile marketing is highly complementary to any press, radio, and TV advertising.

Is there a viral reach to my text message advertising?
Yes, the mobile technology encourages viral marketing with the built-in tools for forwarding of the messages to the existing social networks.

Can BIZ deliver my text message ads to all phone networks?
Text messages can be received automatically on almost all cellular phones in the United States. We currently support the following networks: Sprint , Acg_Cellcom , Verizon Wireless, Nextel, Virgin Mobile USA, Boost, Acg_Ntelos, T-Mobile, Cincinnati Bell, AT&T, US Cellular, ALLTEL.
